A nice little easy
walk where you will discover the ridges of the Arre Mounts and the
little village of Botmeur.
This hike will pass nearby the Roc'h Trevezel (385 meters), which is
very often wrongly believed to be the highest point of Brittany. The
highest point of Brittany is in fact the Roc'h Ruz, about 2.5km
North-East, 387 meters high.
On the way, you will
see old slate quarries.
These
quarries
are the last witness' of the local artisanal heritage. There are almost
all abandoned and their
exploring can be dangerous (very slippery on rainy days and landslip
risks). See also the Blue
Stone hike.
This walk is
about 10 minutes away by car. You can also reach this path directly by
foot from our Bed and Breakfast, taking the Mougau
and the Blue
Stone
trails.
